NORMAL HOURS OF OPERATION:  We are open for DINNER — WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY from 5PM to 9PM.  Reservations are suggested for dinner.  Please call or 214 -701-4409 to make a reservation.  

Note:  We are no longer open for lunch on Fridays.  We are available for private parties. Call to arrange your party.

We have appetizers such as Escargot, Shrimp Remoulade, and New Orleans Mini Crab Cakes which range from $9 to $11 and a vegetarian appetizer of broccoli mushroom fondue for $7.  Seasonal appetizers may also be available.

Our entrees vary but we always have a beef, pork, chicken and fish entree.  The prices range from $18 to $23 and may have specials that are higher priced.  This week our special is  1) Rack of Lamb (4 chops) with pomes puree and haricot verts for $36

E’clair bistro, located in Old Town Cedar Hill at 327 Texas Street, Zip 75104, is family owned and operated, and serves authentic New Orleans style cuisine and classic French dishes – a first of it’s kind to the area.

Chefs Aaron and Lynn are a son/mother team whose family moved to Dallas in 1986. They construct seasonal menus which use fresh ingredients and are prepared all in house.

The French bread used is light on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The desserts are without comparison, handmade and delicious, especially the  chocolate e’clairs and white chocolate cheese cake.

Our love of cooking good food comes from Lynn’s parents, Gee and Louie who owned a restaurant in New Orleans many years ago.   Aaron not only has followed in his grandparents and mother’s footsteps, but further broadens the cuisine at e’clair’s with classic French dishes.

We are open for dinner on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays  as well as holiday and event dining, to be announced.   We are also available for private parties.  Please contact us to arrange your event.
